Rescue Crews Battle Blaze At Lincoln Strip Mall

LINCOLN - Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at a strip mall on Saturday.

The incident took place at 1324 N 66th St. at around 11:32 a.m. Rescue crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to the rest of the businesses in the mall, and everyone was able to evacuate the strip mall safely.

The fire reportedly started inside the building that used to house the Silver Attic. Eight crews were called to the scene and were able to get the fire under control in about an hour.

The fire is now being investigated by an inspector, and we will continue to provide you with more information as it is made available.
