Police investigating teen's murder in northern Lincoln

LINCOLN - Police are investigating a teen's murder in northern Lincoln.

It happened around 10 pm Sunday near the intersection of Seventh and Fletcher. That's just north of Fredstrom Elementary School.

Lincoln Police say a 15-year old boy was shot to death near the intersection.

Officers say they attempted CPR on the boy in the parking lot of an area Walgreen's then transported him to a hospital where he later died.

Police say they have very few details to go on.

Investigators closed off a portion of Seventh Street to set up a crime scene. Anyone with any information about the killing is asked to contact Lincoln Police or Lincoln Crimestoppers.
