The city of Omaha is upping its push for tougher seat belt and texting while driving laws but if past attempts are any indication it won't be easy.
The move is all part of the Stothert Administration's so called "Vision Zero"plan to reduce traffic deaths
.
Vision Zero is expected to hit the ground running next year with the hiring of a full-time coordinator.
In the meantime Governor Ricketts remains opposed to those tougher laws.
