2019 Peru State Women's Cross Country Schedule Announced

Led by sixth-year coach Katy Billings, the Peru State women's cross country team will be competing in six meets during the 2019 fall campaign.

PERU - Led by sixth-year coach Katy Billings, the Peru State women's cross country team will be competing in six meets during the 2019 fall campaign.
 
The Bobcats will first compete in the Bearcat Invite hosted by Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo., on Friday, Sept. 6, at 6:45 p.m.
 
The following weekend Peru State will be in Hastings on September 14 to compete in the Bronco Stampede hosted by Hastings College.
 
Two weeks later, the 'Cats will compete in the Wildcat Open hosted by sister college Wayne State on Sept. 27.
 
On Saturday, Oct. 5, Peru State will be in Lawrence, Kan., competing in the Haskell Invite hosted by Haskell Indian Nations.
 
A three-week break will follow before the Bobcats compete in the Mid-State Classic in Winfield, Kan. The large NAIA meet is hosted by Southwestern College on Oct. 26.
 
The final meet of the season will be the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship which will be held in Fayette, Mo. on November 9. Central Methodist will be this year's hosts.
 
The week prior to the Heart Championship Peru State will host its annual Toughest Mile on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8 a.m.

Coach Billings and her 13 harriers will begin practice Monday, Aug. 19, when all have returned to campus and school has started.
