OMAHA - Omaha Police have made an arrest in connection to a June shooting.

According to a news release, Omaha Police took 22-year-old Mandrell Swiney into custody Wednesday.

He is charged with first degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

On June 15th officers responded to a shooting in downtown Omaha. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
