Three Vehicle Accident Sends One to Hospital

One person was sent to the hospital after a three vehicle accident in Norfolk on Sunday.

Police at the scene say one of the vehicles was trying to turn into the parking lot of the Sunset Plaza Mall on Omaha Avenue in Norfolk when it was hit by oncoming traffic. The crash caused the two vehicles to hit another in the entry of the mall parking lot.

Two of the cars had to be towed from the scene and one of the drivers was transported to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
