OMAHA - US Senator and Democratic presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren held a town hall in Council Bluffs Wednesday.

Warren spoke to a crowd of about 1,100 people. She began her speech by talking about the mass shootings in Texas and Ohio, saying that if elected she would pass serious gun legislation.

Warren also touched on a rural broadband plan she announced earlier in the day. She said she wants $85-billion of federal funding to help close the digital divide.

Warren began her day by visiting flood victims in Pacific Junction.
