Fiance of Jessica Brandon sentenced to prison on drug charges

LINCOLN - A Lincoln man has been sentenced to 16 to 21 years in prison on drug charges.

38-year-old Michael Robertson plead guilty for a number of drug-related charges back in May.

Robertson was also accused of shooting and killing his fiance Jessica Brandon during a home-invasion robbery last July, where officials say they found a number of drugs and eighty-five thousand dollars worth of cash.

Police say five other people also face charges in connection to the shooting.
