Lincoln County inmate wanted for escape

NORTH PLATTE - The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is looking for an inmate wanted for escape.

In a news release, around noon on Wednesday, the County Detention Center advised authorities that 27-year-old William Butrick the second had not returned from his counseling appointment.

Official say it's protocol that inmates are released for counseling.

Butrick's original charges included driving under suspension, probation violation and possession of a controlled substance.

The LCSO says Butrick remains at large and a warrant for escape has been issued.
