Wayne water line breaks, leaving residents conserving water

WAYNE - The City of Wayne is asking its residents to conserve water after a transmission line break.

In a social media post on Sunday, the city's says the break was on a line north of town.

At this time, the City is requesting that citizens conserve water usage until further notice.

They say a line replacement is scheduled for Tuesday, after which, the city may issue a boil advisory for the next several days until testing is completed.
