Search Warrant Finds Drug Evidence at Blue Springs Residence
Two persons arrested, one given court date following search of Blue Springs Home
BEATRICE – Gage County law officers say they detained four persons after serving a search warrant on a Blue Springs home and finding drug-related evidence.
Early last Wednesday, Gage County Sheriff’s deputies assisted by Beatrice Police, served the warrant at 510 East 1st Street, in Blue Springs. Four people officers encountered in the residence were detained.
Law officers arrested 39-year-old Aaron Burr and 30-year-old Dennis Burr. A third person, 59-year-old Thomas Sailors, had a court appearance scheduled for criminal charges against him. Aaron Burr was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Dennis Burr was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and possession of a legend drug.
Authorities seized glass pipes with suspected methamphetamine residue, marijuana and marijuana pipes and 17 Trazadone Hydrochloride pills prescribed to another person. Investigators also seized a switchblade knife, a second knife with a six-inch blade….and a prescription pill bottle containing psilocybin mushrooms.
