Nebraska City Plans Celebration For Fourth Corso Viaduct Opening

NEBRASKA CITY – After four years of closure and reconstruction, the Fourth Corso viaduct is scheduled to open in Nebraska City on Monday, July 1.

Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce is organizing an official ribbon cutting at 2 p.m.

A celebration to commemorate the grand opening will start at 1:30 p.m. on the west side of the viaduct.

The bridge is located between First and Fifth streets. The former bridge was closed in 2015 and construction of the new bridge started in 2018.
