Authorities have released the name of the baby who died in a crash on Interstate 80 in Sarpy County on Saturday. Five others were injured.



Four-month-old Amila Johnson from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, died in the crash that occurred when the Chevrolet Cruze she was riding in crossed the median and collided with an oncoming minivan. The crash was reported about 4:43 p.m.

Amila was secured in a child safety seat in the rear passenger area of the 2017 Cruze. The driver of the vehicle was 19-year-old Adriana Rodriguez, also from Scottsbluff. Two other people were in the Cruze.



The driver of the other vehicle, a 2015 Chrysler minivan, was Mary Lynch, 75. She had one passenger.

All were injured and were taken to local hospitals. The Cruze was eastbound on I-80, and the minivan was westbound.
