NORFOLK - A Norfolk Police Officer is suspended after his DWI arrest this week.

Norfolk Police Captain Don Miller says that 23-year old Trev Bode was arrested early Wednesday morning.

Police say they pulled over a car Bode was driving while off-duty just after midnight Wednesday.

The officer smelled alcohol and called in a Madison County Sheriff's Deputy to help investigate.

Bode was taken into custody by Madison County. He has since bonded out.

Norfolk Police officials say Bode has been suspended pending court proceedings and an internal investigation.
