Precautionary Lockout at Three Elementary Schools, in Beatrice

BEATRICE - Some Beatrice school buildings were on brief lock-out late Wednesday morning, starting at around eleven a.m.
Lieutenant Jay Murphy said the lock-out affected three buildings.

Murphy says police suspect the man fleeing had pending warrants for his arrest. He was not located and was not believed to be armed.

Police located a female passenger in the vehicle the man fled from. The vehicle was released to her.
Lincoln and Paddock Lane Elementary Schools are part of the local public school system. St. Joseph's Catholic School is next to the Gage County Courthouse.
