Fugitive Arrested In Stanton Attic
STANTON - A man hiding in an attic was arrested Wednesday by the Stanton County Sheriff's Office.
29-year-old Gary Meyer was arrested Wednesday afternoon after a brief search at a Stanton home. According to a news release from the Sheriff's Office, Meyer was found hiding in the attic rafters.
Meyer was wanted on a felony warrant issued in Lancaster County in September of 2018.
Meyer also was wanted on two misdemeanor Platte County arrest warrants and faces local charges of obstructing a police officer and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Officials also say they believe Meyer was hiding at the home for a significant amount of time.
