Highway 13 Bridge Near Hadar Collapses

HADAR, NE - Flood waters have overtaken another bridge in northeast Nebraska.
Drone footage shows the collapsed Highway 13 bridge near Hadar. The bridge crosses the North Fork of the Elkhorn River about five miles north of Norfolk.
A spokesperson for the City of Norfolk says the bridge gave out around 8:00 Thursday night. Authorities say to avoid the area.
The North Fork of the Elkhorn crested at a record 17.56 feet on Wednesday night - 5.5 feet above flood stage.
