By News Channel NebraskaNORFOLK, NE - (News Channel Nebraska) - The Orphan Grain Train in Norfolk is asking for donations to purchase a tanker to deliver water to areas affected most by the recent flooding.
In a Facebook post from Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk, Orphan Grain Train is in need of $10,000 for a 6,000-gallon tanker to deliver water to communities like Spencer, Creighton, and Pierce.
Reverend Jim Caretto says donations can be made with a credit card online or check by stopping by the Norfolk Orphan Grain Train location.
