Man injured in scooter accident

NORFOLK, NE (News Channel Nebraska) - A man is recovering from injuries suffered after an accident in Norfolk Tuesday night.
Emergency personnel responded to a motorized scooter accident at the intersection of 2nd Street and Braasch Avenue just after 9:00 PM. Authorities on scene say the driver of the scooter was transported to Faith Regional Health Services hospital. It is unclear if another vehicle was involved in the accident.
Braasch Avenue in the area of the crash was shut down while the scene was cleaned up.
