LINCOLN, Neb. - The coolest thing made in Nebraska this year has a lot to do with agriculture.

With more than 40,000 votes submitted over the course of three rounds, the AF Series Combine, built by CNH Industrial, was named the winner of the contest hosted by the Nebraska Manufacturing Alliance and the Nebraska Chamber.

CNH bills this combine as the most powerful series it offers, with the largest grain tank in the industry, covering more acres in less time.

Grand Island is home to a major manufacturing plant for the Case New Holland combines and other ag machinery built by the global corporation.

The plant was named the large manufacturer of the year in 2018 at the state Chamber's Manufacturing Summit.
