Thurman, Sidney, and Tabor Fire Departments respond to car fire

THURMAN-Last Friday night first responders from southwest Iowa responded to car fire.

An unidentified driver reported the check engine light came on in their 2010 Subaru Forester.  The individual pulled off of I29 at the J10 Exit outside of Thurman, Iowa.  The vehicle then caught fire and was totally consumed, the reason for the fire is undetermined. 

No injuries were reported. 

Fire departments from Thurman, Sidney, and Tabor all responded, as well as the Fremont County Sheriff.  The intersection was closed while crews extinguished the fire.
